I’m wondering why almost everyone I know is on some kind of antidepressant or anti-anxiety medication, and the rest are suffering from chronic stress-related illnesses and get sick too often to be normal. (I’m including myself here too). I am rapidly coming to the inescapable conclusion that when everyone is sick, perhaps it’s not us as individuals to blame. We all think that something is wrong with us. But when everyone and everything is sick, maybe it’s not us at all. Maybe the world we’re living in is sick. We’re natural beings trying to fit into an unnatural world. Everyone raves about modern society with all its trappings and systems of efficiency being so great. But if it’s so great then why is everyone sick and on drugs trying desperately to barely “survive”. Think about it.
